FAQs

  • This workshop is for anyone interested in learning how to use Adobe Lightroom to organize and edit their photos.

    The workshop covers all the key concepts needed to create an organized catalog of photos and edit your images from start to finish.

    Please remember that Lightroom is not a program that can use layers, resize objects, create collages, or remove large objects from a photograph. Those techniques are covered in my upcoming Photoshop course.

    Included in the course::

    • A 9-hour course divided into 3 weekly sessions (3 hours each).

    • A set of free Lightroom presets to add a variety of looks to your photos.

    • PDF handouts of the key concepts covered.

    • A maximum of 8 participants guarantees personal attention.

  • • A laptop computer with Adobe Lightroom installed.

    • A collection of your digital photographs to edit during the three workshop sessions.

    Very Important Notes

    Unfortunately, Adobe no longer offers a true monthly plan. This means you can pay CAD $15.99 per month or CAD $155.00 per year, but either way, you’re committing to a full-year subscription.

    Make sure to install the version called “Lightroom” and not “Lightroom Classic” — both are included in the Adobe Photography Plan.

    Lightroom must be installed on your computer and running smoothly before the first session so we can jump right into the content.

    Once installed, please open Lightroom to ensure there are no errors.

    We will be using the latest version of Lightroom. Older versions may not have some of the newest features we’ll be covering.
