Secret project almost ready to be revealed

I’ve been working on a photography project for a couple of months and I’m sooo close to launch. It’ll take me a couple of extra weeks but I can’t wait to get it out there.

• Reading “Meditations for Mortals” by Oliver Burkeman (I’ve read all his books), Trying to finish “The Creative Act” by Rick Rubin (Great insight just lagging a bit at the end)

Back at Vanarts for a new term

A new full time class started their journey to become professional photographers, and the next part time “Intro to Digital Photography” course starts next week 📷

Portland and Seattle

I’m going through the photos I shot during a trip to these two cities. The weather was good so I might have some interesting images. I always hope to come back with a few good images but I’ve also become very comfortable with the idea that the percentage of good photos from any shoot or trip is usually below 10%. I aim to increase that number, but I'm totally fine with it.

The Art of Print Sales

I’m making my way through Scott French’s online course on selling photography prints online. Realizing that I need to create new images to fit specific themes. Looking forward to have an ongoing specific project…and hopefully sell my work.

Getting ready to teach my upcoming two workshops

My Digital Camera Bootcamp and Intro to Adobe Lightroom Classic workshops which run in September.

• Recently watched Furiosa (7/10), Jackpot! (6/10), Twisters (6.5/10)

• Listening to a lot of Sjowgren and enjoying a mix of 80’s electro pop, blink-182, Biffy Clyro and some Yacht Rock.
